My name is Maria Sharapova and I am not a professional tennis player.
I grew up in a diverse mix of cultures: Russian, Lithuanian and Korean.
I believe that this is a primary reason why I am often able to easily adjust to the new cultural and professional environments, be open-minded and learn things quickly. Obviously, I find these skills to be extremely beneficial in my design work.
What you can find here is a showcase of the most interesting work from the past few years of my career in the design industry. I've worked as a designer since graduating from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA in 2007. My experience includes 4+ years of e-commerce experience in the fast paced environments with challenging deadlines and demanding clients.
No matter what the project's complexity and timeframe are, I strive for great designs and a meticulous follow through from concept to completion.
Some of my favorite things to do include creating and trying out new cooking recipes, hot yoga, playing piano and an alpine skiing.
I believe that my positive attitude and a great sense of humor, which can be a bit dark at times (I personally blame the influence of the Russian culture), will always make me a great addition to any project team.
